How to maintain the pump when not in use?
When the water pump is not in use, it cannot be placed randomly. In order to prolong its service life, it needs to be reasonably maintained. For the southern water pump that is not used, it should be placed in a dry, clean or non-corrosive gas environment to prevent some polluting gases from corroding the equipment.
Before the water pump is used, the grounding wire must be firm, and at the same time, check whether each terminal is firm, and check whether the power supply voltage and rated voltage are consistent.
If in the process of use, there is an abnormal phenomenon such as abnormal noise, to immediately stop, check the cause, until the exception can be put into normal use. Of course, the southern water pump is not suitable for idling, because the motor can reach about 10000 r/min meters without load, and the pump will be stopped immediately after suction is completed. Otherwise it will wear out, universal joint impeller, serious damage to the pump tube.
For pumps that are not in use, regular inspections should be carried out. Usually not less than three months to check once. During maintenance, it is best to disassemble all the internal dust and oil stains. If damaged parts are found, they should be replaced in time.
In short, for pumps that are not used, they cannot be maintained because they are not used. Reasonable maintenance is the key to extending the service life of the equipment.
