Basic points of selection of feed water pump


The choice of water pump is very important in the design of building water supply and drainage. The selection of feed pump, sewage pump and fire pump shall be determined according to the characteristics of their respective systems, pump parameters and maintenance factors.
1 Water supply design
1) Brief description of water sources (including self-provided water sources and municipal water supply network).
2) Estimation of water consumption and heat consumption: total water consumption (maximum day and maximum hour), design hour heat consumption of hot water and fire water.
3) Water supply system: briefly describe the system water supply mode.
4) Fire protection system: briefly describe the type of fire protection system and water supply mode.
5) Hot water system: brief description of heat source, supply scope and supply mode.
6) Water system: a brief description of the design basis, treatment methods.
7) Circulating cooling water, reuse water and other water-saving and energy-saving measures taken.
8) Drinking water purification system: Briefly describe the design basis, treatment methods, etc.
2 Drainage design
1) Drainage system, discharge outlet of sewage, waste water and rainwater.
2) Estimate the drainage volume of sewage and waste water, rainwater volume and return period parameters, etc.
3) Description and comprehensive utilization of drainage system.
4) Treatment methods of sewage and wastewater.

The two-way loop network of municipal water supply pipe network is supplied to the underground living pool, and the water pump is respectively lifted to the podium and the roof water tank of the main building, and then flows to each water point by gravity. The start and stop of the water pump is controlled by the liquid level controller. The roof water tank plays an intermediate regulation role when the pump starts and runs, and the Q ~ H value is relatively constant, and the Q ~ H value does not change with the change of the water quantity at the water point. The pump selected in the design only needs to meet the calculation of the Q ~ H value. However, it should be noted that the Q ~ H value of the selected pump should not be greater than the Q ~ H value of the design calculation, and it is generally appropriate to control the Q ~ H value greater than the design calculation by about 5%. According to the above principles, we in the design of the skirt room, the main building water supply system pump selected for 65DL32-15 × 3 and 80DL50-20 × 5 pumps.
